Password protected videos allow you to share a video with someone but the viewer must know the password to the video (which you can set).
To make a video password protected and set the password, on the video’s page, scroll down and under privacy, click edit. Select “Password protected” and enter the password you’d like to set for the video. The password will not be hidden when you type it in. If you are planning on sharing this video with other people, it is best to keep the password simple so that viewers don’t have a difficult time entering the password. Once you have entered the password, click “Save.” Your video is now password protected.
To remove password protection from a video, click “Edit” under privacy as you did before and then select either Private or Public and click save. This will remove password protection and change the privacy state to Private or Public. How do I change a video to Private or Public? To make a video password protected and set the password, on the video’s page, scroll down and under privacy, click edit. Select “Private” or “Public” and click “Save.”
If you embed a Private or Password Protected video on a public web page or blog, anybody who visits that web page will still be able to see the video.
