Due to space limitations, July had been living with her newborn baby at her husband’s place in Denpasar. With her husband away for work all week, she was caring for the baby alone, while her two older children stayed with their grandparents in Balangan. But there is wonderful news. We were able to find July a cleaning job close to her parents’ home, where she now earns twice as much as she did in Denpasar. But most importantly, we are building them two bedrooms so she can live close to her children and play an active role in their upbringing. Thanks to your donations we were able to buy more building materials and continue building two new and safe bedrooms for this family. The door frames are installed, the walls are getting their final plaster, and the electrical installation has started. We are also building a small outdoor kitchen so the family has a safe space to cook.
