Customer Success Associate (Sales Focus)

Support our customers and help them to achieve the most they can with SproutVideo. Work to grow our client base and relationships with existing clients. Act as the voice of the customer to ensure the platform reflects user needs.

Expected Outcomes

Support

  • Manage all support resources, creating and updating when needed

  • Provide regular reports on customer activity

  • Become a product expert in the first month

  • Able to handle ticket volume/incoming chats without assistance

  • Identify areas for improvement in customer communications and trainings

Success

  • Comfortable handling prospective customer call backs

  • Able to support entire customer lifecycle, converting prospects to paid users and driving engagement and retention

  • Build existing customer relationships and help to improve customer retention

  • Assist Director of Customer Success in creating platform trainings for new users

Core Competencies

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to self-manage

  • Independent worker who seeks out additional projects to improve team

  • Able to listen and empathize with customer needs

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Interest in video and basic HTML/CSS skills a plus

Customer Success Associate (Tech Focus)

  • Point person for API questions and player customizations

  • Help Head of Product and CTO on special projects

  • Create reporting on customer needs that help eliminate churn

  • Able to convert trial users to active customers through excellent support and training

  • Build existing customer relationships and help to improve customer retention

  • Assist Director of Customer Success in creating platform trainings for new users

Core Competencies

  • Basic programming knowledge (HTML/CSS/JavaScript and experience working with API troubleshooting)

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to self-manage

  • Independent worker who seeks out additional projects to improve team

  • Able to listen and empathize with customer needs

  • Interest in video a plus
