Video Websites
- New: You can now provide even more value to your viewers with the ability to attach supplemental documents to your SproutVideo-hosted media landing pages and playlist overview pages. Add up to 3 files of any type, up to 20 MB each, to your videos, live streams, and playlists. Any viewer with access to watch your content will also have permissions to download these attachments. Note that this new feature is only available on select subscription plans.
- New: Related to file attachments, you’ll also find a couple of new settings in the Site Editor related to these attachments to customize the language used to describe these documents. For videos and live streams, you’ll find a setting to modify the header in the Site Editor ‘Settings’ panel under ‘Settings for Video Attachments’. Playlist and playlist video settings will be in the Site Editor ‘Playlists’ panel under ‘Settings for Playlist Overview Page’ and ‘Settings for Playlist Video Pages’.
- New: By default, a playlist video landing page will include a breadcrumb link to the parent playlist. We’ve added a new setting to allow this link to be read-only (no link, just parent playlist name) or hidden if you prefer not to display to the parent playlist info at all. You can find this new setting in the Site Editor ‘Playlists’ panel under ‘Settings for Playlist Video Pages’.
Analytics & Engagement
- New: File attachment download analytics have been added to Account Analytics reports, as well as individual content reports, including per video analytics as well as live stream and playlists. Note that upcoming live streams (which is a stream you’ve created but have not started broadcasting) and playlists will not have any other analytics at this time, so you will only see the file attachment download analytics appear for those content types if you have attached documents and any document has been downloaded.
- Improved: We’ve added time zones to all reports to clarify data across various analytics and engagement reports, particularly for accounts with team members in different locales.
Playlists
- New: Easily copy the share URL to a playlist video landing page from your playlist details page when managing the playlist settings.

Video Websites
- New: Our Cypress and Maple themes have a new option to control the style of the detail “pill” displayed over a poster frame on content listing pages. For videos, the “pill” displays the duration, and for video categories and playlists, it’s usually the video count.
Generated Report
- Improved: We added two new columns, “Original File Size (MB)” and “Total Asset Storage (MB)”, to the Videos Overview generated report to help with managing your video library.
