Live Input, Live Delivery and Additional Usage FAQs

Your SproutVideo account is billed on a monthly schedule based on your selected plan level. The main factors contributing to your monthly bill are bandwidth, storage, live streaming usage and additional usage. When broadcasting a live stream with SproutVideo, you will use Input and Delivery minutes.

Input Minutes

Input Minutes are the number of live streaming minutes ingested into our platform. If you create a live stream and broadcast for 10 minutes you will use 10 Input Minutes. The Seed, Sprout, Tree, and Forest plans each include different amounts of monthly Input Minutes. If you exceed the amount of Input Minutes included with your plan, you will be charged for any extra minutes used at the rate corresponding to your plan level.

Delivery minutes

Delivery Minutes are the number of live streaming minutes distributed to your viewers. If you create a live stream and broadcast for 10 minutes to 2 viewers you will use 20 total Delivery Minutes, 10 minutes for each viewer. The Seed, Sprout, Tree, and Forest plans each include different amounts of monthly Delivery Minutes. If you exceed the amount of Delivery Minutes included with your plan, you will be charged for any extra minutes used at the rate corresponding to your plan level

NOTE: You will be charged for all live Input and Delivery Minutes used monthly while on our Seed plan.
